Embrace Tranquil Japan: Where Tradition Meets Today
Our farm stay is a 140-year-old traditional Japanese farmhouse. The previous owner operated it as a farm stay for about 10 years.
However, it has been closed since 2020 due to the raging outbreak of COVID. Considering her health and age, she passed the business on to the next generation, and now young members have reopened the farm stay in 2022.

What makes our place special?
First, our accommodation is located within a 10-minute walk from Samurai Street in Kakunodate, also known as the Little Kyoto of Tohoku.

Secondly, our accommodation is a 140-year-old traditional farmhouse with a thatched roof. Current Japanese law does not allow the construction of new buildings with thatched roofs, so there are few places where you can stay on an existing roof.
Third, our accommodation offers a variety of experiences using the hearth and surrounding nature. Our accommodation is a place where you can experience Akita's four seasons through all five senses, creating a special memory of your stay in Japan.
